As a child there was a sweet song we sang. It was “This Little Light of Mine.” It goes on to say “I’m gonna let it shine. Let it shine till Jesus comes, I’m gonna let it shine. This little light of mine, I’m gonna let shine. Hide it under a bushel, NO, I’m gonna let it shine.” and so on. Years have passed and it is time to evaluate that promise. Is our light shining for the Son of God? Is the Christmas season perhaps the best time to celebrate the light of Jesus and let it be reflected through us? Are we radiant with His light enough that compels others to praise Him and not us? The less people see of us, the more they can see of Him. I promise you that we will reap in the blessing and everyone will come out of the shadows when His light shines on their path. Join me whenever this little song comes to mind as we let our light so shine!!!
