Jesus taught a parable about dealing with weeds that the enemy plants. There are times when we unnecessarily spend our time fighting and resisting evil interferences in our lives. We might be more productive in our spiritual harvest to spend time nurturing the Word of God and maturing in our faith. In life, we are told to “focus on the positive and eliminate the negative.” But I say, “based on this parable, the quote is as sound as the scripture.” There will be a right time to sort out the weeds in our lives and properly dispose of those evil hindrances.
