Harvest the Whirlwind

Today, I discovered a new scripture verse that has so much relevance to what we have heard all of our lives; “we reap what we sow” or “what goes around comes around.” Hosea was a prophet who has a very special story. You may want to read his entire book in the Bible. The verse says, “They have planted the wind and will harvest the whirlwind.” (Hosea 8:7 NLT) Regardless of short or long term consequences, we can expect the promise that the seeds we sow (or the wind we plant) will have results. Some may produce fruit and others heartaches or whirlwinds of destruction or despair. Each day is new and full of opportunities to make a difference and life long personal results. It would be wise of us to think twice before we take an action, don’t you agree?
