Handwriting on the Wall

Have you ever prayed over and over hoping that God would answer your prayer and never seemed to receive a clear response? Sometimes, we are waiting for God to approve the answer according to our plan instead. Hope is not always enough. We wait for lightning to strike and blow us over with the obvious solution. Yes, there are times when the answer is clear and immediate, but most of the time the answer has already been given. Those are times when we need to recall and act upon the inspired Word of God. In other words, the answer is like the ‘handwriting on the wall’. We simply need to accept it and move forward. The answer to our prayer was given long before the prayer was uttered. Sometimes we need to take a leap of faith as we trust in the outcome already prescribed.
