Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” Habakkuk 2:2-3
Over and over through scripture in the Old and New Testament we are reminded that there is a coming end to this world. God created it and He will restore it to the original Garden of Eden. It has been in an altered state since the sin of Adam and Eve. We can look forward to a New Heaven and a New Earth. Clearly these are signs of the restoration. We know the specific events that led us to the return of Jesus and fulfillment of prophecy. This is one schedule that cannot and will not be rearranged. No person in power or no saintly individual will make a difference. However, they may certainly be used in the process to accomplish the execution of that plan. Yes, even evil people and their decisions will be instrumental in what ultimately happens.
