Bags are packed. Ready to go!

The most spectacular event of our lifetime happens only once. We all receive the invitation, but not all of us choose to attend. I accepted. My bags are packed. I am ready to go!

God went to great lengths and Jesus sacrificed His life to secure our heavenly destination. The Holy Spirit extends the invitation. Preparations will be completed to perfection with unfailing love.

Once the invitation is accepted, our reservation is secure. The celebration begins! As in earthly events, we deliberate and expectantly begin leaning into the day’s celebration. The anticipation is exhilarating! We begin investigating what to expect. We share with our friends as we encourage them to accept their invitation. Our imagination gets more exciting, especially when our friends and family decide to join us. Our hearts are there long before the day arrives. People often say, “Looking forward to the day is almost as wonderful as the arrival date.” It is a comparable analogy, but is far from accurate. The difference is unimaginable. We never return to the current reality and the ecstatic joy lasts forever!

Once our perception becomes a reality, there is no turning back. We are locked in for life. Our eternity has transitioned into hopeful bliss and confidence!
