Some of us excel in tenacity as if we ‘do or die’. It is a wonderful trait to follow if we can avoid offending others along the way. There must be a happy medium between knocking people in the ditches on our road to succeed some mission in life and behaving responsibly. A sluggard is never pleasing, but then neither can a bully be respected. Finding that balance between serenity and security for achievements is what many of us never seem to grasp. Perhaps we misconceive the meaning of security and over achieve success. Have you struggled with this delicate balance in others or even in yourself? Tenacity is admirable – Just don’t get ahead of God! He desires a lot from us … but keep it in check!
